Dr. Marianne Brandon is a clinical psychologist and Diplomate in sex therapy. She works with individuals and couples in her Sarasota office, and via the internet with folks in New York State, Washington DC., Maryland, and Missouri. Outside of these jurisdictions, she offers sex coaching for those eligible. Dr. Brandon is the author of Monogamy: The Untold Story and the ebook Unlocking the Sexy in Surrender: Using the Neuroscience of Power to Recharge Your Sex Life. She is co-author of the book Reclaiming Desire: 4 Keys to Finding Your Lost Libido. Dr. Brandon served as a board member for an International Sexual Health Society, and also co-hosted an exciting sex therapy radio show called “In Bed with Dr. B and Ted. She completed her doctoral training at Ohio University and her internship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Brandon is also a graduate of a post-doctoral fellowship in eating and weight disorders from the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Brandon contributes regularly to professional publications, and lectures to sex therapists, physicians, psychologists, and the public. Her more recent professional writing includes articles and chapters on female sexuality, female low libido, male and female sexual dysfunction, aging and sex, and the challenges of monogamy.
Dr. Brandon is a member of the American Psychological Association; Florida Psychological Association; National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology; The American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists; The Society for Sex Therapy and Research; The International society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health; The Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the Human Behavior and Evolution Society. Dr Brandon is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Missouri, Maryland, Washington D.C., Florida, New York, and Arizona.
